I’m thrilled to finally announce to the world that I’ve just signed a new contract with my publisher, Boldwood Books, for another four stories! These will be a saga series, still set in Poole, Dorset – the setting my readers love so much – and the series will be called The Lifeboat Girls.

But this series is set in the period of the First World War. The first book will start in 1912 and include the tragic loss of the Titanic and then lead into the start of the war. Then the second and third books will follow the lives of three young women as they become crucial to the continued service of the lifeboat while so many of the men they love – fathers, brothers, friends and sweethearts – are going away to war. A fourth book will follow and will also be a work of historical fiction.

The first instalment in the new saga series is due to be released in March 2026 and will be hot on the heels of my third World War Two book, set in Normandy and featuring the French Resistance, to be released in mid 2025. Stay tuned for the Title and Cover reveal for that one soon!
